BE THE PEOPLE by Carol M. Swain

BE THE PEOPLE by Carol M. Swain, Ph D --- This book begins by discussing the foundations of which our country was founded on. Swan then goes into discussing what is wrong with the country and what has caused it's destruction. Swain focuses mainly on moral issues in the country today, such as abortion. Swain's research and writing seems very solid and very strong, whether or not i agree with everything that was written it was very strong and i respected it regardless. She wasn't harsh or condescending i really liked that about her writings.

attraversiamo. "let's cross over".

This is my blog discovering myself as a mother, a woman, a daughter, a friend, and a girlfriend, and just me as a person in general. ~Who will tell whether one happy moment of love or the joy of breathing or walking on a bright morning and smelling the fresh air, is not worth all the suffering and effort which life implies. Erich Fromm~

Hello readers, if their is anyone out there reading this right now..
I have been blogging for years now, but i have recently stopped blogging on my other site and started this one. This is one of many moves of mine to start fresh.
attraversiamo. "let's cross over".
What a refreshing word, don't you think?
I heard it first from the book eat, pray, love. It has sense taken off and also is a movie now. I recommend both, but i like the book much better.
But anyway, before i get off topic, which i easily do by the way. I am crossing the street, i am leaving where i am at and moving on and trying to find a better place. I am healing myself, while mourning the past.

I am a mother of a beautiful little girl who recently turned 2. I have 4 siblings, and 3 parents. My biological father is not a part of my life, and you will most like rarely hear me speak of him. (he is also a part of this healing process) My mom and dad (stepdad) are great. Of course they have their faults, mainly not being able to accept that i choose my own paths normal parent child issues. I will soon be divorced, i'm legally separated. I am currently seeing someone. It wasnt a planned thing at all, it was just a chance thing. I will get into him later on in my blog.

I've recently started studying the Buddhist culture, and the Hindu culture, i find them both very fascinating. i love their principles on life and their faith. So i might occasionally talk about that.

I hope everyone has a great night, i love comments and i look forward to hearing from all of you. I know this first blog is vague and not very exciting but i promise it will get better. I enjoy writing, i dont write anything fancy, its how i feel in my heart. i write about my day to day feelings and what i do from day to day. Thank you for stopping by!! (:

~In a moment, however, wisely judging that one token of her shame would but poorly serve to hide another, she took the baby on her arm, and, with a burning blush, and yet a haughty smile, and a glance that would not be abashed, looked around at her townspeople and neighbours. On the breast of her gown, in fine red cloth, surrounded with an elaborate embroidery and fantastic flourishes of gold thread, appeared the letter A.~
